EV Mechanic Training gets independent repair and collision shops working on electric vehicles safely, profitably, and without waiting on a manufacturer program that may never come. Two days of hands-on instruction, national credentials, and a launch plan built for your bays.
Upon completion, you will earn your ASE EV2: xEV Technician Electrical Safety - Level 2 certification. You will also be prepared for the NFPA 70E (2024): Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace certification.

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
Stop sending your best customers to the dealer.
Your EV owners still need brakes, tires, suspension, coolant service and diagnostics. Right now they're driving past you.
Service any EV, any badge. Power down high-voltage systems safely, verify isolation, and work the vehicle end to end so an EV in your lot becomes a repair order instead of a referral.
Diagnose where dealers replace. Isolate battery, inverter, and thermal-management faults down to the module. That's high-margin diagnostic labor your competition can't quote and dealers won't perform.
Build recurring EV revenue. Add HV inspections, coolant loop service, and EV-specific maintenance intervals to your menu plus the fleet and rideshare contracts that require a certified tech on site.


COLLISION AND AUTO BODY
Stop subletting the first hour of every EV repair.
You can't touch the panel until the pack is de-energized. Right now that's a phone call, a tow, or a declined job.
Bring high-voltage disable in-house. De-energize, verify, and document to OEM procedure on your own floor killing the sublet fee and the cycle-time hit that's costing you on every EV file.
Bill the work you're currently giving away. Post-collision battery inspection, isolation testing, and HV damage triage are legitimate, documentable line items on the estimate with the records that hold up in supplements.
Take the claims your competitors decline. Safe handling, quarantine, and storage protocol for damaged packs is the gate on insurer and OEM EV programs. Clear it, and EV severity work routes to you.
